Skid Row Marathon Movie Screening
Dairy Arts Center
Thursday, September 26 at 7:30 p.m.
We are excited to host a screening of Skid Row Marathon, a movie about a criminal court judge who starts a running club on L.A.’s skid row. The judge trains a motley group of homeless people to run international marathons. The group/club’s members, comprised of homeless drug addicts, a recovering single mom and an paroled murderer, consider themselves among those least likely to succeed. As they train together to run in international marathons, they learn to dream big as they are re-acquainted with their own dignity.
Secure your ticket for our free screening. Seating is limited so be sure to sign up now. We do request you bring a donation of canned goods or gently used running shoes in lieu of a an admission fee.
